Now that may sound hard to believe. How can you actually make any money if people don’t buy the products from your web site? We’re going to tell you how it is done.
What we recommend doing is setting up some kind of free report or free information to be delivered via auto-responder. The free information of course, in our opinion, should be to bring people back to your web site to sell your product.

Fortune 500 companies are just too big. They have too much overhead to deal with tiny, little markets. Instead you will find that they tend to go after the huge markets that can make them big profits in a short amount of time - and they’re in it for the long haul. They like to make lots of profits.

We really like auto-responders. People get information immediately. It is instant gratification. We think it makes a tremendous difference in customer satisfaction when people get the information when they want it.
Now, we’re going to discuss three techniques that transform auto-responder follow-ups from intrusive advertising into deal closing profit centers.
We prefer the auto-responders that are a series of auto-responders. In other words, you get the information immediately that you ask for. There’s automatically a series of messages that will follow, over any time pattern that you set, so that the person who gets information from you may get one, two, three, four, or up to ten or more responses spaced over time. We find that this is terrific follow-up. It means dollars in your pocket that you don’t have to worry about when you use an auto-responder.

You could either work for a small percentage, you could offer to do it for a flat fee if you reach a certain amount and actually achieve your goal. Or, you could even start your auction business, and set yourself up as a specialist in on-line charity auctions and do the first two or three for free to get them under your belt.
Either way, if you are taking a percentage or if you are taking a flat fee over a certain amount, so that you can bring to the charity that you’re not a risk. “There’s no risk involved, why not try it?” And the benefits are many. There is no risk to the institution, and you can literally set yourself up in a business acting as a charity auctioneer.
Before you start thinking that it is wrong to charge charities to raise money for them, realize there are many professionals out there who make a very handsome full time living arranging charity events and taking their fees. It is a very normal thing.
You’re not going to be asking for money from the poor, or anything like that. In fact, you could be helping raise money for the poor and making money at the same time. Who can think of a better situation? Helping a favorite charity, making money, and being able to do it quickly in a short amount of time.

There are three different ways that I see (there may be more) to use this CD-ROM to make money for yourself.
First of all, you can simply sell it yourself. You can slap a price tag on it that is virtually any price - CD-ROMs are cheap to duplicate now. If you find the right supplier, you can get them done in quantities for as little as a dollar, or sometimes even as little as fifty cents if you duplicate enough of them at a time.
You could sell them anywhere from $19.95 if they don’t have a lot of information on them. You could even sell it for up to $99, $150, or $200 if it has a lot of high quality information on it and is a real value to your customers.
Another way you can sell it is to create a distributorship and let your customers sell it for you. In our business people like to sell products. If you have a customer base, you could set up a simple distributorship and let them buy the CD’s from you in small quantities for two, three, four, five, or six dollars a piece.

You can make a profit on each CD-ROM that your customers sell for you. Then, they can go ahead and sell them for you, and they can keep a nice profit on each one they sell.
Another way is to sell master rights to your CD. Maybe you’ve got other people who are interested in your CD. It’s taking off like wildfire. You’re getting a lot of sales. You can find people who would actually pay you $500, $1,000, $2,000, or maybe even as much as $5,000 to be able to have the rights to duplicate your CD-ROM, just like you do.
That’s three ways you can use this CD-ROM. You could also give it away as a premium if you wanted to, since they cost fifty cents to a dollar apiece to have copies made.
You can give it away to people who buy another package that you have, if you’ve got other products. There are lots of things you can do with a CD-ROM. Create a CD-ROM that has something to do with the Internet, or is on a hot topic that you know of or you’re interested in. I think that that’s a good way to create a product and you can do it fast, in one day or less!

The trick to making millions in direct mail is to send your sales material to those prospects that have shown interest in the same type of products or services that you are selling. You have to offer your products to the people who already have a past history of buying those kinds of products.

Here’s a pretty simple idea that a lot of marketers we’ve seen have totally overlooked - namely, participating in discussion forums and discussion groups on the Internet.
Some people are familiar with the old computer bulletin boards and the computer bulletin board systems that used to be around several years ago. A lot of the discussion forums on the Internet are basically glorified bulletin board systems for people to share information and knowledge that they have and ask questions of other people. People that may be experts answer the questions. They just get together and communicate about various topics.
While you cannot blatantly advertise on these discussion forums, you can use them to your advantage to get free advertising - We’ve done it - it’s how you could bring in truckloads of cash with Internet discussion boards! Here’s how we did it - and how you could do it, too!
First of all, there are many discussion forums out there. If you’ve been on the Internet and looked around, you’ll see that there are discussion forums on just about any topic you

could imagine. The market that we service is the business opportunity market.
There are a lot of marketing forums. There are also forums for gardening, cooking, etc. There are lots of different forums. Their only purpose is to serve as a board where people can post their questions or comments and have other people respond to them. You’ll find that some of these discussion forums have hundreds and hundreds of people, maybe thousands of people, who visit them and participate in them.
Just by being involved in these discussion forums, without advertising, you can let people know you have a web site that is along the same topic that the discussion forum caters to. When you’re submitting your response, your question, or your statement on the forum, most of them have a place at the bottom of the post where it says enter your web site address. You can enter your web site address. There’s another line that says enter a brief description of your web site. You can list a brief description. Some of them even have a place where you can actually post a graphic. Not only would you have your address with a brief description, but it would also list a small graphic, maybe a banner ad or something that gave a little more information about your site.
Remember, you don’t want to blatantly advertise on these discussion forums. Every time you participate, every time you ask a

question, and every time you answer a question, you can put that link to your web site on there and say “By the way, I have a web site that you might be interested in. Click here to go right there.” People can click on it and go right to your web site.
There are three kinds of people that visit discussion forums. The first kind is the people who ask the questions or make the statements on the discussion forum. The second kind is the people who answer the questions. If you visit discussion forums, you’ll notice that sometimes there are a lot more people answering questions than asking. The third kind is the people who visit the board, read the questions, read the answers, but don’t actually participate. Those are the people that you never really see or hear from. You know there are a lot more of those people on the discussion forum than those that are participating. While you may only see fifty or sixty people who have their name there by a response or a question, there may be hundreds of people that have visited and seen your responses and your advertisement leading back to your web site.
That’s just a simple idea. You can’t really blatantly advertise, but you can get the free advertising by participating on the board as much as you can, responding to people’s questions, and using that free link that they let you put at the bottom to draw people back to your web site. Some forums attract hundreds,

or even thousands of people that could be good potential customers every day . . . so why not get involved and let them know you’re out there?
We have a friend who has a newsletter. When he first started his newsletter, he began visiting the discussion boards. He basically answered people’s questions . . . and at the bottom of every message he posted was a little link.
When people would click on that link, an audio responder would send them a copy of his newsletter by e-mail. The responder did all the work, sent our friend the orders, and would keep half the money.
So, just by answering a few questions, our friend had hundreds of people subscribe! It cost the people $97 a year to subscribe, and our friend split the money with the audio responder. He’s told us that he felt like he was doing a good thing by helping folks out on these boards . . . and then getting also handsomely rewarded!
Best of all, there was absolutely no cost at all, just some time involved!

One thing we’d like to clarify is what you get for that 30% commission to Microsoft. They track everything!
They track who’s earned a commission, they pay out the commission checks for you, they do everything for that 30%. When we speak with many people starting into business for themselves and bring up the topic of starting a newsletter, many of them invariably say, “Oh, I don’t know if I can publish a newsletter.” Don’t let yourself fall into that mind trap - you really can! Now let’s go over how you do a newsletter. Many of you are highly qualified - you don’t have to be a great writer or a famous author. You just have to be able to piece together different information to publish a newsletter. It really isn’t very difficult, guys and gals!! You should consider doing it. You could get someone to write it for you. You could scour the Internet where there’s just literally thousands upon thousands of pages worth of free information and pick out the best of it that relates to the subject that you’re trying to promote and put together a newsletter that way, along with some original stuff of your own.
We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again - seriously consider a newsletter! It is a great way to get Free Advertising and build your business because, in addition to having the newsletter on your site, you can offer that newsletter for free on so many other sites and related websites. Then, in the newsletter, there’s information on how to subscribe, and you can go a step further - you can sell advertisement space on your newsletter.

There are so many sites on the Internet where there are many, many ads. You surf your way there and find that there’s something like 1,000 classified ads - maybe even 10,000! Most people, we believe, will not wade through all those ads. If the ads are stuck here and stuck there in a very interesting E-zine or a newsletter, then people will read the ads as they read the content.
We’re telling you that there are two ways to make money. You can sell your products and services with the newsletter. You can get your newsletter on related sites. You also can make money by selling advertising. Consider publishing an on-line newsletter!

We’re going to show you how to do it even if you don’t have a web site. All you really need is an e-mail address. The way to do that is to become an advertising broker for niche markets.
There are some very large companies that are brokers for some of these very large web sites. Some of the search engines like Yahoo and Hot Bot and Infoseek, and some very large corporate sites use them.
But you can make a lot of money by being an advertising broker for niche markets. And the great thing about this is you can focus on a niche market that you have an interest in. So you are doing something that you enjoy, but you are also making a lot of money.
Let’s run through a quick example - we think an example would really explain how you might do this. Let’s say that you really like your dog. Maybe you have five dogs or six dogs. You like dogs and you go to all these web sites. You are interested in caring for your dog, and training your dog. You could actually contact a lot of these small and medium sized web sites dealing with the training and caring for dogs. A lot of these sites actually offer

advertising, both banner advertising, classified advertising, and all sorts of other different advertising offers.
You can go to those web sites and make a deal with them. You can say, “Look, I would like to be a broker for your advertising. I can bring in some relatively large companies that would like to advertise on your site.” All you ask is a commission, maybe 10 or 15% for every ad that you get placed on that particular site.
If you set up only ten, twenty, or thirty of these sites focused on dog training and caring, then you can go to some of the larger companies like Petopia, Pets.com, or some of the larger companies that focus on selling to pet owners and go to them with a special offer.
We’ve made a special offer with some of these sites and have, literally, thousands of people coming in that are interested in dogs. They’ve got message boards and discussion boards. It’s your target market and you need to be advertising here.
And we’ve got a special deal for you. If you advertise on ten of these sites, we can give you a 5% discount over what you could get your advertising for if you went directly to them. And then, of course, you take your percentage.

The great thing about using a system like this is, once the contacts are made and you have them set up with the niche web sites that you want to focus on, selling the adver-tising is a very simple process. You go out, you make the special deal. Because you’re the broker, they will go ahead and send you the banner ad they want placed, or the copy that they want placed on a web site, ready to go.
You don’t do any of that. In fact, in many cases, they’ll just e-mail you the graphic they want placed along with the payment information. Make sure you get that. That’s very important to this process. Then you proceed. You’ve made the arrangements with those particular web sites, now you take that graphic and simply forward it in an e-mail to those web sites along with the payment that needs to be sent to them. And that’s it! By being a middleman you can literally run your business with a few e-mails, making some contacts with larger web sites and smaller web sites.
It’s a great way for you to make money selling Internet advertising without doing a lot of work. You don’t have to set up your own web site. You don’t have to focus on pulling in traffic. You don’t have to do all the hard work.
Instantly, you can start making connections with ready-to-go web sites that already have the traffic and are already selling advertising. Your job is just to broker those ads and help them get more advertising sold.
And, especially if you’re working on a niche market or a couple niche markets that you really have an interest in, it can be a very fun way to make a lot of money.

In this article I am going to cover five secrets of creating a memorable domain name that will stick in your prospect’s mind so they can remember you and return again and again.
1. Keep the name simple
This step is really the simple one. We get carried away sometimes with domain names and try to make them very complicated and elaborate. The more we do, the more difficult they are to remember!
The ideal domain name is a very short name. Short names are easy to remember. It should be a single word, but, unfortunately, most of the single word domain sites are long gone. Sites like Books.com or Accountants. com disappeared years ago. They are either in use or being held out for a big sale.
These days you don’t have those kinds of choices, but you still need to try to keep it as simple and clean as you can. You want to

make certain it’s easy to spell. It doesn’t matter if it is easy to remember; if people don’t know how to spell it, you’re still in trouble.
I was working on a site recently where the key word was therapist. The problem with the word therapist is the fact that people can remember it, but when they have to spell it they are in trouble! You want to select a name that people can spell as well as remember!
2. Make certain that it has no hyphens in the name
Currently having hyphens in a domain name is very popular because it opens up a whole new window of opportunity for getting domain names. With hyphens you can get some domains that you wouldn’t be able to get otherwise because the single names are gone.
The problem steps in if you do radio advertising, being interviewed on a program, or have any word of mouth promoting your site. When the web address (or URL) gets pronounced, the hyphen tends not to get used. It is hard to say, “It is accountant hyphen something else.”
In the end the prospects will end up at the site of your competitor who doesn’t have a hyphen, but is selling the product that you’re selling... and you lose. Therefore, do your best to keep it simple, understandable, and easy to remember.

3. If you’re in business for the long haul you need to avoid clichés
Right now words like cyber, digital, tech, etc. are very much in vogue - but they are words of the 90's. If you plan to be in business for the long haul, you don’t want to be stuck with a name that is very identifiable as only strong and viable in a certain time period... especially when that period will eventually become the past. Therefore, it is to your best interest not to choose a trendy name.
4. Don’t name your company after your web site address
There is a current trend of naming companies such-and-such dot com. That is very short-sighted!
The experts are saying that it won’t be long because the majority of the businesses are online and doing business online. You want to be known for the name of your company, not just a .com company, because by then everybody will be a .com, or the equivalent.
5. Come up with unexpected combinations
These are like other coined words in the Internet industry such as Yahoo and Ebay. Amazon is not a coined word, but it is an unusual application of the word. By using the word amazon, they were trying to convey size - amazons are big according to legend, after all.

Therefore, Amazon Books means a very big bookstore.
Include unexpected combinations like Fog Dog, and unexpected visual combinations like Green Tiger. That gives you the chance to brand your own name and make it anything you want it to be. Green Tiger could be tools. Green Tiger could be a search engine. Green Tiger could be a clothing line. If you come up with an unusual name like that, you then get to make it what you want it to be. Green Tiger is very visual. Plus, when you read Green Tiger, you get an image in your mind of a Green Tiger, which is something that is unexpected. Tigers aren’t green!
Blue Thumb is another good example. Green Thumb is common, but Blue Thumb sticks in your mind because it is different.
You can also coin and use words in unexpected ways. Apple Computer is a great example! An apple is a fruit. It doesn’t apply to a computer! When you pair it with that computer, though, it becomes very easy to remember and very distinctive.
Those are some tips that will help you look at domain names in a slightly different way. Now I would like to give you one of the most valuable tools I have found on the Internet for domain names. It is a site called domainsurfer.com. If you’ll go to that site you can put in any key word.

It doesn’t matter what the key word is. If you enter that key word it will give you every domain name registered that includes that key word. This is amazing because you’ll find out there are thousands and thousands of words for almost any subject.
These are domain names that are in existence, and it tells you what is already taken. More importantly, though, it stimulates your imagination and it gives you great ideas for variations, and you’ll find that there are seemingly unlimited words for good domain names that are still available.
Another great thing about this site is that you can click on any one of those words and it will tell you who owns it or will take you directly to the site, and you can see it. It is the most valuable research tool in the world!
If you were looking for accountants, you could type in the key word accountant and it would give you every domain name that has been registered with the word accountant in the title. Then you could go right down the list and click on them to see what people in that business are offering, saying, and what their sites are looking like. It is the most valuable research tool you’ll ever find on the Internet!

What stops most people from using the key strategies that we share with people so they can find their own success with Internet or direct marketing?
Many times it’s having so many powerful strategies to choose from that people become paralyzed by analysis. They don’t know where to begin. They look at so many choices, and instead of choosing one and taking action, they end up afraid they’ll make the wrong choice so they don’t take any action at all.
They will plan and think it through over and over and over - and they end up not implementing anything and getting started.
Another brick wall people seem to run into is focusing too much on micro decisions, the tiny things. Things like worrying over the color of the paper you’re going to use, or the ink, or the fonts.
