People buy with their emotions. The ad should cause them to feel an emotion towards your product, and the more the pleasant, happy, excited emotional factor they have towards your product - the more they desire it - the higher the chance that they’ll buy it. 5. Use benefits to attract product desire. Benefits are all that the prospects really care about. They only want to know what the product or service can do for them that can make their life easier, more enjoyable, and more fulfilling. 6. Make readers “believe” your promises. If your ad cannot make the reader believe you, the reader is not going to buy from you. Remember, they are buying on the basis of “sight unseen’ - they send their money without ever seeing, touching, or trying out the product. Therefore, it’s very crucial to make them believe that you’re not going to rip them off. 7. Write advertising that relates to the average person in your market. Use the language and terminology that the people in your market use. Know your market. Know what the market likes and doesn’t like. Learn what the problems are that people in your market have. The more you’re able to relate to them, the more you seem to honestly have something for them!
8. Convince the hardened skeptic.
12. Use words and phrases that move people to act.
scientific actuality. Get too heavy on testing common sense things, and you’re wasting your money.
20. Substantiate incredible product claims.

exchange nature of the Internet to bring themselves more business.
The one thing that has made amazon.com so successful is their affiliate program. They have actually started reaching out to the Internet itself and offering other sites the ability to bring people into their site. If they buy, they reward the site that brought them in. They give them an incentive.
It’s a known fact that most people traversing the Internet moving from site to site move from site to site coming from another site. This is so important. It’s kind of like buying a yellow pages ad. You just about have to be in there. That’s another way that people find you. Most people really move from site to site.
You want to remember the name of this: “The World Wide Web.” The reason they call it the web is because it is all inter-connected. It is like one giant spider web. We like to look at it that way. It may sound a little mercenary, but weI look at ourselves as one of those spiders sitting on the web. We’re just trying to make sure our web attracts enough people that we can profit. You know, a business to make business with.
Go out there and get started! You could be the next Amazon.com success story . . . or maybe you could leave them in the dust!

There is one easy way that you can make your ads more credible in the eyes of your customers. You must use facts. Facts make your ads believable.
Too many companies fill their ads with a lot of hype, but they never back the hype up with facts. Facts are believable. Sure, benefits are great, but facts are the proof that people need before they will send you their hard-earned money!
Your customer knows that you are trying to sell them something. They are not stupid. They expect you to overstate the benefits they will receive from your product. But, facts are a different story! People rarely question facts. It is harder to overstate a fact, and that makes your ad more believable to the prospect.
So, next time you write an ad, include the benefits, but make sure you include lots of facts as back-up evidence that what you say is true! You will soon see your response start to rise!

There is a fixed cost to run advertising. You pay so much per thousand for direct mail, and you pay so much for space advertising in various publications. You are going to pay that amount whether your advertising is highly successful or if it fails. Therefore, you should test to find what works the best and brings you the most profits.
This is how a little experimentation can make you a fortune over a period of time! Simply by testing your different ideas inexpensively, you can find the things that are the most profitable. Then, you can use them to bring in more profits.
So it is vital that you test different offers, concepts, techniques, and appeals, and then analyze the resulting data. You can dramatically increase your profits and results if you zero in on what works best and discard what does not. Through testing you can make money with any product - NO MATTER WHAT IT IS!
You may have to experiment on how best to advertise a product. Perhaps you have not expressed why your product is superior to your competitor’s. Maybe your no-risk deal is not strong enough, or you have not addressed all of the strong benefits your product offers.

Here are the mail-order regulations and laws you must follow to keep yourself away from any legal difficulties:
1. Firm names must be registered in some states and counties. Your county clerk and secretary of state will have the necessary information regarding this law.
2. No permit or license is necessary from the Federal government to operate book sales by mail-order business. Contact your local, county, and state offices to see what their requirements might be.
3. You are required to fill orders within 30 days, or you must inform the customer of the delay and offer to refund his/ her money.
4. Do not advertise in the Help Wanted section of the classifieds unless you are looking for someone to fill a job opening.
5. Keep accurate records to prove your income and expenses for the local, state, and Federal taxes you are required to pay (sales tax, income tax, etc.)
6. Do not advertise books for sale if you know you cannot deliver.
7. It is against the law to order goods with no intention of paying, or to write checks with insufficient funds as payment.
|
Many writers get great ideas from going back to old publications and studying the mail order ads. All they do is find new ways to recycle old ideas.
Yes, those products and services no longer apply. Yes, it is outdated. However, the selling principles that sold those products and services back then can be utilized to sell your products and services now.
This is a technique that many movie producers use. These people sink millions and millions of dollars into the production of a film, and they want to make sure that their investment will pay off for them in the end. Therefore, one option they use often is remaking old movies that successfully ran in the past.
They find new ways to update the movie and communicate the movie’s main points, though. They will alter the story line, they’ll put in additional, or sometimes even different characters, and sometimes they’ll even change the personality of some of the main characters. Sometimes they will even change the very ending of the movie. This is a secret that smart movie producers use to make millions of dollars that can make you RICH too!
The same works with advertising ideas. You can take old advertising ideas that really worked well for people 40, 50, or even 60 years ago, and make them work now in today’s world. The basic selling ideas that worked then can - if properly executed - work today.

Knowing what people want has the POWER to make you rich. Develop this strong knowledge. Create a list of 100 of the main things the people in your market want. Then, weave this information into all of your sales material.
Never forget: People do not want your product or service. It’s what it can do for them that makes it valuable. People buy the end results of whatever they think your product or service will do for them. They buy the perceived benefits. It’s up to you to tell them what these things are. Remember, people will always want to look better, feel better, be important, be loved, and be respected. These things will never change. People will always buy products and services that they feel will give them more power, make them more attractive to the opposite sex, etc. Find out what these “hot-buttons” are for the products and service you sell. This knowledge could make you rich.

Many people are simply sitting around trying to come up with good ideas on their own. That is the worst mistake these people can possibly make.
The easiest, best, and fastest way to come up with good ideas is to look at ideas that are being used profitably by other people. Then adapt, expand, and create from those ideas.
There are all kinds of things out there right now that you could be getting ideas from. Don’t sit around and wait for it to happen. Use the concepts that are already making other people money and find ways to expand upon those ideas. It’s a very simple concept, and it can supply you with all the good ideas you need!
You should look at the idea-generating process like it is a body-building of the mind. The more you use a muscle, the more it will grow and expand. The same is true of the mind. Find as many ways as you can to continually use your creativity. Keep working your mind. That’s how to double - or even triple - your creative powers within thirty days!

A "Roll-Out" is a simple money-making technique that my husband and I (and many others) have used to become millionaires. It has the powerful wealth-building potential to do the same thing for you. Here’s how it works:
1) You test different front-end offers to attract new customers.
2) You develop these offers by testing as many different things as you can, such as: headlines, prices, products, guarantees, etc.
3) Experiment slowly until you find the offers that consistently earn you the BIGGEST profits.
4) Then "roll-out" with those offers by seeing how many new prospects you can profitably sell it to.
Roll-outs have the potential to make you rich because they are proven winners of all the tests you run. There’s almost zero-risk if you do it right: A) Test new offers and elements in your offers as inexpensively as you can. B) Only roll-out with the offers that have been proven to make the BIGGEST profits. You have the potential to get rich even if only 1 out of 10 of your offers is good enough for a large roll-out.

There are 12 basic rules of writing effective advertising copy. If you will study these rules and use them every time you write a new ad, you will be on your way to making millions of dollars. These 12 rules are:
1) Experiment with different formats to maximize the amount of copy that can fit into an ad!
2) Achieve maximum clarity and impact of key points, even if it is at the expense of eliminating lower priority points!
3) Make every effort to bullet low-priority points, one after another, in the sales letter, and get them to fit into any length with clarity!
4) Immediately reduce or eliminate graphics in order to incorporate more copy. Graphics should seldom be used in a sales letter!
5) Low-priority copy points that can’t be introduced into a sales letter could be used in a brochure or some other form of insert.
|
6) Consider shifting a high-priority point to a special highlighted insert, such as a lift letter!
7) Know that it is more important to cover key points clearly, completely, and persuasively, than to include the low-priority points!
8) Don’t try to write your sales letter to the exact length on the first draft, knowing that you will likely go back and do some editing later!
9) Don’t try to fit in more copy and end up compromising your sales letter’s readability!
10) Don’t reduce your type size beyond what is tolerable and readable, knowing that clarity and readability are much more important!
11) Provide prospects with proof of claims and believability of key benefits!
12) Never waste valuable copy space talking about you and your company, knowing that people care more about what your product will do for them!
These 12 things can help make your sales material bring in top dollars! You should try to make sure that every sales letter you produce includes all these things! If you do, you will be on your way to making maximum dollars with your sales letters!

If you want people to buy your product, then you must offer something they want and need. That’s the one thing you MUST do to get people to buy from you. That is the key. Offer them something they want and need that no one else is offering them.
Know your market. Know what their priorities are. Know what kind of products they spend the most money on. Find out why, and get creative. For example, people want:
• Things that offer multiple benefits.
• People want a product to do as much as it possibly can. They want more for their money. Think of a kid in a store trying to pick between two toy cars. One of the toy cars, a model of a Gremlin, only rolls back and forth. That’s it. The other car is a scale model of a Viper. That car can steer, the lights light up, the horn can beep, the voice of the driver can be heard. The kid will buy this car and put the other car back on the shelf. Other products are like that. The more they can do, the more popular they will be.
• Better quality
• People want a product to last and last. They do not want it breaking or falling apart while they are using it. Better quality is also
|
a key to keep people coming back to buy from you again. If the products you sell them are cheap, they won’t want to buy from you because they know the products will fall apart. If you offer them the highest quality you can give them, though, they will be impressed with what you sent them and will be much more open to buying from you in the future.
• Things that will save them money.
• People want to have more money to do with as they please. They don’t want to pay out as much. Therefore, if you have an offer that will either save them money or show them how they can spend less money, you have a good product.
• Something that will save them time.
• People want more time to do the things they enjoy. They want difficult projects to be done faster, simpler, and better.
• Things that are durable and long lasting.
• People want products that will stand up to the test of time. They don’t want cheap junk that will fall apart. They don’t want time-sensitive information that will go out of date. They want something that will last them a long time.
• Things that make their lives more enjoyable.
• People want to enjoy what they do. They want more leisure time. They want to be able to spend time with their families. They want their life to be fun, not a drag.
• State-of-the-art items.
|
• "Latest technology!" "New!" "Latest edition!" People want the newest, most recent up-to-date things they can get.
• Convenience.
• They want everything to be less work, quicker to do, and with high gains.
• Things that will make them more money.
• People want more money. They want to be able to buy the things they want. They are, for the majority, greedy. Greed can be a powerful lever for you to use in your ads.
• Things that are more effective.
• People want to do things better, quicker, and with more impact.
• Things that offer solutions.
• People have problems. They want to find a way out of those problems, and your product or service could be the answer that will eliminate those problems.
• Anything that will make life less difficult.
• People are lazy. They want everything to be as easy as possible. They don’t like to work; they’d rather play.
• Things that have multiple uses.
• People like products they can use for a number of different jobs.
• Items that will enhance their looks, real or perceived.
• People want to look better. It improves their self-esteem and helps them gain higher places in society.

The ultimate product to sell is not a product at all! It’s a service. And it’s a service that’s needed by every single business, every single entrepreneur, anyone anywhere all over the world that has something to sell. The #1 thing that they need is advertising!
Unless they get their message out there to the people they’re trying to reach, they don’t have a business. They are dependant upon finding the right places where they can advertise. We love the idea of monthly residual profits.
Once you get one customer - that customer can pay you month after month, year after year. And a multiple of those customers can make you rich every single month without doing hardly anything at all.
It’s the lazy way to Internet riches! It’s how to make money with NO product, NO shipping costs, and NO inventory!
And, if you’re constantly getting more and more people into your Site, there’s a good chance that you’ll be able to legitimately ask for more money every month as you get into this a year, two years, three years where your customer base is increasing. You have a legitimate right to ask them for more money each month.
So you could literally be compounding your income every month, every year.

All it takes sometimes is just one small idea that can give you a marketing edge over your competition to turn your profit-machine into high gear! What is that one idea? Well, that depends on you. But, it could be as simple as finding a unique marketing idea that your competition isn’t using. Or, you could find something your competitor is doing wrong, and get rich by making sure you don’t copy their mistake!
There are so many unique ideas. But, most of them are in your head. You know your product better than any one else. Grab a pen and a piece of paper and see how many ideas you can come up with. How many ideas can you think of that can give you an edge above your competition?

In this article I am going to show you how to automatically sell and deliver up to 1,400 reports or even, potentially, a whole lot more from your ordinary web site. This may sound hard to believe and sound impossible - how could you possibly collect 1,400 reports or even more, and how could you possibly put them on your web site, deliver them automatically, and sell them automatically? Hopefully, you’ll have a better understanding of how it all happens by the time I am finished.
There are many different computer disks and CD ROM’s floating around. You may have seen some of them. There are many different offers out there that give you the reprint rights to dozens, if not hundreds, of information reports.
They can be on a variety of different topics. Some of them are money making, and some of them are related to marketing in general. There are many, many different topics!
All of these reports are available. You can buy the CD or buy the computer disk and when you pay the fee, whether it is $100.00 or
|
$200.00. You will actually own the rights to reprint and distribute all of the reports, and sometimes even manuals and books that are on these disks and CD ROMs.
I recommend you pay a small fee for as many of these different disks and CD ROM’s that you can get. There is one that M.O.R.E., Inc. sells that’s called “The Instant Publisher’s CD Rom.” It contains 750 different reports that you can reprint, sell, and distribute. You could have a web site that’s only purpose is to categorize and sell the reports to other web sites that are looking for content.
What do they do with those reports? They can give them away free. They can use them to drive traffic to their web site. If they engage in e-zine marketing or e-mail marketing they can simply offer to give the report away free and use that to get people to come back to their sites over and over again.
Let’s say that the 750 reports from the Instant Publisher’s CD Rom were divided into ten different subjects. Your web site could list the subjects available, and then the web site owner would simply click on a given subject to see a complete list of the reports available. You could actually have each report right on the Internet available for immediate download, and, of course, they would pay you before they would receive the report. You could have it all automated so it is all right on the Internet ready to go.
|
My suggestion would be that you set different prices based on how many of the reports they took. If they took just one report, it might be $19.50 for reprint rights to put it on their web site. Or, if they take all of the reports on a certain subject area, of course you’d charge a lower price per report. You could do this many different ways.
This is a great service to provide other web site owners. They would pay just a small, reasonable fee to you, and in turn they would immediately get one or more reports that they can use as content for their web site.
Many of them are starving for content. They want these reports, but they don’t know where or how to get them. They might use a banner ad to let people know they have free reports available, or they might e-mail them. They could e-mail an offer to their customer and say, “Visit my web site again. I’ve got this new free report.”
If they buy a handful of reports, they could offer a new one every week. If they did one a month, maybe, and they bought twelve of those offered, they could have a new report on their web site available free to their visitors. It would rotate every month so they could bring traffic back again and again.
The nice thing is the fact that the people that buy just one or two reports from you would be able to come back again and again and purchase more reports after they see
|
much business they get by having just one or two of your reports on their web site. This gives you a chance to get repeat business from people who might not have purchased every single report you have available.
I mentioned towards the beginning of this article that there are several of these computer disks and CD ROMs available. I just told you about the Instant Publisher’s CD that contains 750. I also know of at least one other one that contains 650 reports. If you invested in as many of these as possible, you could build a pretty powerful web site! If you added these two together, you’d have 1400 reports, and there are many more of them out there, so you could have thousands of reports available.
You basically position yourself as the content king of the Internet whom everybody goes to for new reports that they can add to their web site. If you set up your web site the right way, you could have all of it categorized so that they could come to your web site and find what they’re looking for. They could click here and they see what’s available there.
By purchasing the rights to these reports you can just have them available for immediate download on your web site. If you’re set up the right way, they can actually pay with their credit card and immediately download the reports, totally eliminating delivery. The customer pays by credit card and the cash is automatically deposited into your bank account!
Once you go through the initial set up and get the web site running, it is all automated. There is nothing for you to do except maintain your web site.
There is a perfect opportunity here for you to sell advertising to the people that want to benefit from your traffic as well, but you don’t have to do that. If you have a merchant account you can just deliver the reports via the automatic download, and the money gets deposited into your bank account. It is a great way to automatically sell and deliver up to 1,400 reports or more using your web site - and it can all be done automatically!
|
Potentially, there are millions of people who can make up your market. That means potentially you can get millions of people to give you their money in exchange for your product or service! How? By using small ads to attract those people and build up your mailing list.
Use your small ads to attract prospects into contacting you initially. Since there isn’t much room in a small ad, it is typically better to use the ad to dramatically present your product or service’s biggest and best benefit, and then tell your prospect how to contact you for further information.
Another great idea is to use the small ad for an introductory offer - for example, you could sell a very inexpensive product and include a free gift with purchase.
When you get responses from your small ads, you are gaining the names and addresses of good prospects to send future offers to. Keep them and put them on your mailing list!
Once you build up a mailing list, you can go back to those people on that list again and again with related products and services and try to keep these people doing business with you. That way, you’re able to keep the list you have of your best, regularly buying customers and keep expanding it all the time with new customers!
|
You have to stay in constant touch with these people. You have to compel them to want to come and make a bid. Tell them that it will go fast. Very specifically let them know that you have 347 other customers who are getting this special e-mail announcement. Or 347 other people are getting this postcard ... and what you have to offer will go fast ...
“Only one person will win, but 342 people will get this message (you have to give a specific number - it makes your claim more believable), and only one will win. You owe it to yourself to go look at this new item and bid on it.”
You have to write compelling advertising copy that makes people want to go and place a bid on it. We also believe that you have to do things to build a relationship with the people who are on this mailing list.
This is one of the biggest mistakes that is being made right now with people on the Internet auction. They are afraid to reveal themselves. They are afraid to show a picture of themselves, or talk a little bit about who they are. Maybe they don’t realize the value of that, but this is extremely important. Let people know a little bit about yourself. Don’t be afraid to do that.
|
Here’s another idea. Advertise your best products on a big auction site such as E-Bay. Then, when you stay in touch with your customers about these other products, find a smaller auction site to list those other products on.
You can then become a big fish in a small pond. By doing that, you can get your entire mailing list to go to this other auction site, where fewer products are listed, and you can have all your products there. It really gives you a chance to make a big impact on people.
Stay in touch with your prospects and customers. Build a bond with them. Make them want to see what you have available. Compel them to come back, and keep coming back. And if you’ll do that, you can get a ton of people to keep giving you huge bids for every single product that you list.
