Make prospects a legitimate irresistible offer. Give them value that no-one else is giving. That can be a better discount, more bonuses, a greater warranty, etc. Then, give them an inducement that makes it irresistible.

For example, you could give something worth a certain amount of money if they purchase your product. If it is not what they thought it would be, they not only get their money back, but they also get to keep the free bonus just for their trouble. This sales technique has value in any business. There may be a few people who will take advantage of a good thing, but they will be a very small percentage.

Some marketers will even make a blind offer. They may say something like, “I’m going to offer you something worth $100. If you don't like it, I’ll give you $125 back.” Again, some people will take advantage of that type of offer. But, overall, the offer will be so appealing that people will feel compelled to respond, people who ordinarily would not.

But, remember, if your product is not worthwhile, if the item offered isn’t a quality product, or does not fulfill the promise you made, then you can, and should, expect a loss.

In a blind offer, you don't just come right out and tell the prospects exactly what it’s all about. You tease your readers and only tell them just enough about what you have to offer so that you make them curious. Then, if they want more information, you tell them how to get it. This is why blind offers will make you rich!

You have to paint a picture that is not complete unless they have some sort of transaction with you. This creates a vacuum in their mind, a topic that they want to have completed. Then, they will send away for your sales literature, your free cassette tape, your free videotape, or whatever you plan to send them. How To Turn Something No One Seems To Want Into A HUGE MONEYMAKER!

The idea that I have to share in this article is showing people how to find hot selling products.

This is a very simple idea. There are about fifty thousand books published each year. Only up to three hundred of them actually being big sellers and going on to be successful. One thing that I want to point out here is that I think people need to check into this, and find one of these books that was a poor selling book on the shelf.

Go to the publisher and get permission to promote those books by mail or on the Internet. I think that there is a tremendous opportunity for some people to find some books that didn’t sell quite as well as they should have... books that they can turn into good-selling products when they’re marketed to the right niche market.

Go to the bookstore and look for books that are sitting on the 75% off sale rack. maybe they have been out a few months, maybe even just a few weeks, and they just aren’t selling well enough. The publisher says, “Mark them down and get them out of there.”

You’re looking for a book that is on a topic that’s interesting to you or that you know there’s really a huge niche market interested in. Go ahead and buy it, then call or write the publisher (it is probably better to write the publisher, or you might find them on the Internet, and just make a deal with them). You’ll be surprised, many of them focus on one or two books a year they publish that are the big winners by the big fiction authors and such.

When you go to them, tell them that you are not interested in selling the book in the bookstores. Make sure they know you don’t want those rights. Tell them that you just want the rights to sell it by mail and on the Internet.

Maybe they’ll charge you a few hundred or a couple thousand dollars, but if you have the right title you can go ahead and sell thousands and thousands of copies of it to a niche market on the Internet or through mail-order!

There are many different informational products that you can develop, and the profits can be huge because the perceived value is so incredibly high. We remember the case of Joe Carbo, a man who wrote The Lazy Man’s Way To Riches. He sold 10 million dollars worth of books at $10.00 apiece. Right in his ad, he said in the opening two or three paragraphs, “Hey, this book only cost me fifty cents, but you’re going to pay $10.00 for it. Here’s why . . .” The rest of his ad proceeded to show that the book (yes it may have only cost him fifty cents to print it) was well, worth the ten dollar asking price.

It’s the same way with all information, and informational products. The price that you pay to publish or print that book, or manual, or report, or whatever is nothing compared to what it can ultimately do for your buyer. You’re really helping people by giving them value. You can do all kinds of things to give people what they really want and value the most. Plus, you can help yourself! If you’re selling the kind of products that you have an interest in - if you’re publishing material that’s based on things that interest you, things that you love doing - then it can really be a great lifestyle.

If you publish materials on things that you want to know more about, you can actually write while you’re researching. While you are doing your research on subjects that you want to know more about, you can actually write and sell that material. So, you are earning while you are learning!

The secret to publishing or producing your own self-published materials is just to do a little bit every single day. One of the successful authors that we know, Dan Kennedy, publishes many products every year. People are always coming up to him and saying “Hey, Dan, what’s the secret of your success?” He’s been doing it for enough years now where he’s pretty good at it, but the truth is he forces himself to sit down and create material every day for at least 45 minutes to as much as 90 minutes a day. First thing in the morning, no matter where he is, seven days a week, whether he’s home or on vacation - He forces himself to do it. That’s what you have to do! If you just do a little bit, in a short period of time, it can really add up. Just a page a day, that’s 365 pages a year.

You can also re-circulate and reuse all of your material repeatedly. That’s right - you can recycle your informational products! This is a dirty little secret that all self-publishers know. We all find ways to use little bits and pieces of stuff we wrote five or ten years ago and putting it into materials that we’re developing today. Instead of writing, you’re simply rewriting -You’re stealing a paragraph here and a paragraph there, a page here and a page there. You are reworking all this material so you’re selling the same old stuff, but it’s reworked in new ways.

As long as the material is good material your customers get a tremendous value. Then, on every other page, you’re advertising your website. It’s a great way to get free advertising! You’re selling your informational products and then the people are automatically driven to your website because they like what you’ve done.

Your prospects will want to know seven things when they read your ad. Your ability to answer these questions will determine how high your response will be.

It’s not just a question of whether you answer them, though. It’s also important to ask yourself HOW you answer them. You must answer these questions in the most motivational way possible, showing prospects that they truly have an advantage if they take advantage of your offer.

How To Thrive In Your Internet Business By Focusing On The Eight Basic Missions Of A Business!

In this article, I’m not going to share just one great idea with you... I’m going to share EIGHT! I call this “How To Thrive In Your Internet Business By Focusing On The Eight Basic Missions Of A Business.”

Now, I have to be fair with you. This is normally a one hour introduction that I give new clients to turn their thinking around. I am going to compress it into a few paragraphs. The only reason I’m attempting to do this is because I think it is very important that we get these things in our minds.

I am going to share eight different approaches, and I want to tell you that anything that we can do as marketers - especially Internet marketers - to boost or improve any one of these areas is going to have a mathematical effect.

This is what you really want to look at, and this is what I’m working on when my goal is to get spectacular improvements with a client. You want to look for exponential improvements, which is when you work and make improvements on three or four areas.

But... what if you are running on all eight? You’ll have a profit powerhouse on your hands!

Now, let’s really take a look at these eight basic missions of a business.

1. Love Thy Customer

I actually call it the First Commandment. It’s even written as a commandment. It states that we should “Love thy customer.”

There is a lot of misunderstanding out there in the world of marketing. Many people who are ignorant to the way business works think that you get rich by ripping people off. Nothing could be further from the truth!

The only way you will actually really get rich is by delivering a product or service that your market wants, values, and pays for again and again. Most businesses are very repetitive, essentially selling the same things over and over.

You have to love your customer, and you have to realize that your whole focus should be on giving them what they want and serving them to the utmost of your ability.

The next three principles come in a group of three which I call The Three Universal Laws Of Web Success. Remember, all of these principles are related to success in business.

2. Develop a Great Product

The first thing you have to do is develop a great product. If you’re on the take, it won’t take long for your market to notice it. You’ll never get the repeat business. You may not even get initial business! Therefore, you have to start out with a strong product.

Fortunately, you don’t have to create it yourself. There are all sorts of people who can make you a good product, but you have to have something to sell.

3. Write A Web Site That Sells Your Product

Now we’ve gone from the product to the marketing materials. Since we’re on the web and we’re dealing primarily with web marketing (and e-mail marketing is closely related), you have to sell your product, you‘ve got to have good copy, you’ve got to have a path, and you’ve got to have flow.

4. Attract Targeted Customers

Then, when you’ve got the product and you’ve got the irresistible marketing tools which are full of benefits, you are in business. Next: you’ve got to attract targeted customers, who are people who might be interested in your product.

That’s why it really doesn’t do much good to load your site up with key words such as “sex,” “bondage,” and such. If people come to your site where you’re selling tamales or information products on exercise and fitness, they don’t relate to sex, and people are going to say, “I got gypped.”

You want to get the targeted traffic. That way you spend less and put out less effort getting more bang for your bucks!

Those are the three universal laws of web success: develop your product, write a web site that can sell your product, and get attract targeted customers.

Then we move into one area that should profoundly affect your thinking. These are the only three ways to increase your revenues on the web or off the web.

5. Increase The Number Of Prospects That Come To Your Site.

Now you need to be focusing on how to build website traffic. So, how do you build website traffic? There’s a great number of options waiting to be utilized, including:

- Contests

- Forum postings

- E-mail mailings

- And off-line advertising, among other things.

Everything we’ve talked about is included in getting prospects.

6. Increase the number of prospects you convert to buyers.

The next challenge is to increase the conversion rate to clients. If people come to your site, surf, and leave, that hasn’t really done you as a merchant any good.

When you’re working on getting your prospects to come to your website, it’s only one component of the process. Working on converting those prospects into customers is another component. You do that with effective copy, good graphics, good lay-out, and quick load times.

7. The only other way you can increase revenue is to sell more to clients.

There are a lot of different ways to do this but, basically, it breaks down. You could have greater initial sales, or you could sell products over time. For instance, we’ve got one product that we market at $19.97 and on the order coupon there it states, “For a better experience, please include these cassette tapes that cost $22.93.” And those extra cassette tapes actually cost more than the primary product!

It is an opportunity, and at this point 22% of the people are taking the upgrade. That’s additional free money for us! That’s one way you can increase revenue, with additional free money.

You want to solicit your customers again and again as well, of course, and sell them more products over your back-end. Are you staying in contact? Did you get to subscribe to your e-zine? When you mail out your e-zines, you can include an advertisement after your content.

Those were three ways to increase your revenues. There are no other ways. Increasing the number of prospects ties directly to increasing the conversion rate, also. If you increase the number of prospects, you’ll increase your clients. You must increase your clients’ conversion rate also, though, to try and sell your clients more.

And now we’re up to the final point.

8. DO IT!

Point number eight is the biggest stumbling block I see when it comes to all the people I work with. Some understand immediately and work with it. You should do whatever you have to in order to break through - Ready, aim, fire!

You have to do something, so DO IT! The only guaranteed failure that you will ever have is being too afraid, too reticent, or too cautious to begin. That’s guaranteed self-sabotage!

Now, I can’t tell you you’ll have tremendous success on your first effort, but I can tell you this: If you take the feedback you get from that and tinker with something, you will eventually find success.

Take all eight of these together and use them correctly, and you will thrive in your Internet business because you will be focusing on the eight basic missions of an Internet business.

Answer These Six Questions And Use The Information You Get To Become A Millionaire!

There are six questions that, if answered correctly, can give you the information you need to become a millionaire! You can become a millionaire sooner than you think! Here are the six questions:

1) Am I writing to a typical prospect who has answered my ad? You must always think like your average customer. Think about their interests, desires, needs, etc.

2) Does this person I am writing to represent the average name on the list I am using for my direct-mail promotion? Your mailing list represents the most critical source you have! Even if your sales letter is the best on the market, it won’t do you any good to mail it to the wrong list. So, you must make sure the person you are writing to represents the average person on the list!

3) Does this person operate a business or belong to a profession? You must know everything about your prospect in order to fully know who you are sending your offer to. You must know everything about them so you know beforehand if they are interested in the product or service you are offering.

4) Is the person a homemaker or a retired person? Again, know your market. You must understand everything about the person(s) you are trying to sell your product or services to. You must know about the problems they face so that they can find solutions to their problems by purchasing your product or service.

5) What are the social, financial, and vocational circumstances? Look at the lives of your target market. Find out what they do every day. Where do they work? Do they work full-time, part-time, or work from home? Find out what problems they face, and then find products to fix those problems!

6) How will my prospects respond to a given product, and what are the factors that will influence their buying decisions? The answer to this question will come from studying and knowing your target market! Over time you will learn which customers respond to what ads, and what sales letters work better than others. The ongoing answer will evolve with time as your products and services change.

If you can find the answers to these questions, you stand a good chance to make a lot of money! In short, you must find out what your customers want and need! One of the easiest ways to make money is to find a problem people are having and then sell them a solution to that problem! If you can do that, you will be on your way to total financial freedom!

How to Actually GET PAID To List Other People’s Products On Internet Auctions - Even If The Products Don’t Sell! This Is Amazing!

We have a friend who works for a company that manufactures computer equipment, and they’re starting to downsize a little bit, so he’s dropped down to four days a week.

He takes that other day and puts things on an auction site for the company he works for. He cleans out some of their inventory that might not be moving as well as other things. This includes certain types of firewalls and other equipment -things that were manufactured that are in their warehouse.

How You Could Make Hundreds, Or Even THOUSANDS Of People Happy To Sell Your Products!

Many starting marketers don’t understand how powerful affiliate programs can be, and how easy they are to instigate. There are companies out there with literally thousands of affiliates helping sell their products - and you could have the same thing! Starting your own affiliate program is how you could make hundreds, or even THOUSANDS of people happy to sell your products!

Affiliate programs are referred to by various names. Affiliate programs are sometimes called strategic partners, other times associate programs – it’s all the same thing. Amazon.com was really the first to make this popular, and they have 400,000 affiliates selling their products for them! Many people have modeled that success - why can’t you?

Basically, here is how it works. They give you a piece of code that your host puts on your web site for you, and then you list the books that are related to your subject matter, or you put illustration of your books on your site, and they are related to the products that you are selling. For instance, if your site is about health and you sell supplements, then you might show on your site a number of books that relate like mega doses of vitamins, or new natural healing methods, or anything that relates to your site. If you’re selling fishing, it’s about fishing spots, fly tying, etc.

You, in effect, open a bookstore on your site. When the visitor on your site clicks on any one of those titles, they are carried instantly to the Amazon site where they can find out more about the book, the price, the size, the delivery schedule, what people have said about it, other comments about the writer – and you do nothing!

When the visitor from your site clicks on a book or title at Amazon.com it is instantly recorded and you are paid a small commission for that sale.

What you are doing is generating customers and traffic for Amazon. It’s a win-win situation because your customers are getting something they want (more information about products that you sell) and for doing nothing, frankly. The commission is pretty much free money, because you don’t have to pack the product, you don’t have to ship the product, you don’t warehouse it, you don’t have any money tied up in inventory.

You can do this for your own products, too! You don’t have to be an Amazon.com to make this work because there is software available from all sorts of sources that lets you operate your own affiliate program.

You get other sites to sign up as your affiliate. It doesn’t cost them anything, but you give them a piece of code (your software will do that for you) and they advertise or recommend your site. They can place a banner on their site or they can place an ordinary link. They can also write an article and recommend your site in that article – that is really the most powerful referral of all.

When the visitor at your affiliate site clicks on that link or banner ad, the same thing happens. They come directly to your site, they look at your material, and if they make a purchase on your site, your software automatically records that so that your affiliate gets paid.

In fact the software we use sends the affiliate a note that says, “Hey, you just made a sale at my site.” It sends our customer a note that says, “Thanks for making a purchase!” And it sends us a note that says, “It’s time to pay the affiliate.” It tells us when and for what and how much money to write the check for and who to send it to. It just doesn’t get much easier than that.

In effect, you create an army of other sites that are selling your products for you. It’s not a complicated arrangement to set up. You can grow it as large as you want it to grow. Essentially it is like running a national advertising campaign, where you have TV spots and magazines all running your ads, but you don’t have to pay a penny unless those ads make you a sale. That’s the beauty of this - you don’t pay a penny unless your affiliates make you a sale. It’s per-inquiry advertising at the extreme. It is a terrific way to multiply your business, and the dollars can really pour in from affiliate sales!
