Here’s an idea that’s a little bit different . . . it can help you bring in a lot more sales for your full product and bring people to your website. We have seen this done successfully on several of the Internet Auction sites that we have visited - and it’s how you can use Internet auctions to get people to pay to receive your sales material!

You can use the auction to bring people to your website in order to tell them more about your product - and sell them! If you are selling a high priced product, you might not have the space or want the space to have people read through a long, lengthy sales letter on an auction site.

You can put up a report, for example, that you are selling for maybe just one penny, fifty cents, or one dollar (depending on what it is). You can actually sell that through what we call the Dutch Auction, which is when you have more than one item for sale. That report can then get people to your web site or it can actually sell a product if you want to do it that way.

(Actually, you can have any number of items on the Internet auction block, but you wouldn’t want to go too high.)
Say you put up that you have fifty of these reports for sale for $1.00, and people bid on them. Then you can deliver it to them electronically! If you have e-mail, you can e-mail the report to them. That report can lead people to your web site or it can lead people directly to a product.

Another take on this, using the same concept, is you can actually sell the report very cheaply just as a vehicle to have that advertising on the auction site. Then go within your listing and put up a link that says, “Click here for more information or to get this report right away!” When people click on the link, it can lead people to your web site.

The reason you would want to do this is, especially if you are selling a high priced product, is because you may not have the space to put a lot of information on the auction site. By doing this, you can lead people to your web site where you can go through a more thorough explanation, and attempt a more thorough job of selling your product to them . . . and that can get more people to go ahead and respond!

If you are selling the product for fifty cents or one dollar and you do have a lot of people buying it, the only hassle you are going to have is that people will be sending you cash, checks, money orders, and if you take credit cards they will be wanting it billed to their credit card for that small fee. We presume (we have never done this ourselves) that one way you can get around that is, if you are selling it for a penny, tell people that you are waiving that penny charge once people say they have won the auction. That way you don’t have to handle the hassle of getting hundreds of pennies in the mail or hundreds of dollars in the mail. Still, that could be nice to get!

This is just something you can do to help sell the higher priced products that you might be offering. Bring people to your web site using the Internet Auctions to sell those higher priced packages. When people pay to receive your materials - they’re more likely to buy your product! If they’re really interested enough to send a little money for information on it, they are very interested . . . and they’re great prospects!

One thing we recommend doing if you want to do this is you might charge people a set-up fee. Not only would they pay per view or per click through, but you might charge them $25 or $50 - really whatever you want - to set the system up to be a sponsor. That will allow you to get some profit right up front. Then you might charge just a small fee per click through. It could be a penny, two pennies, ten cents, twenty-five cents, fifty cents, or a dollar. It really just depends on what you want to do and what people in your market are paying right now for click throughs. It really is up to you as to how much you want to charge.

Then, they’re going to click the button and instantly the information is going to be automatically sent to them.

If your report is going to sell the product on your web site so you’ll have that money coming in, but you also have the advertising money that is due every week, or every month, or however you want to set it up, you will actually bill or maybe they’ll give you a credit card right up front, and you’ll just automatically deduct for their fees for every click through that they had.

Today, over 70% of all the money he takes in comes in via credit cards. It’s something like 72% as opposed to only 28% for checks and money orders.

Now we did a survey at our office a few months ago to find out what the actual number was. We found that 61% of our customers paid by credit cards and about 39% paid by check and money orders. We were getting 72% of our business from the 61%. So it’s not equal.

Not only are two out of three paying by credit card, but they’re spending more money. We know with higher priced offers - two hundred ninety-five dollars, four hundred and ninety five dollars - sometimes it’ll be over 80% who pay by credit card.

Not only are credit cards the majority of sales, they are disproportionately the most money. So you really have to have it in mail order to do business today.

On the Internet it’s a whole different ball game. While it’s important to take credit card orders by mail order, it is essential to take them for Internet marketing!

We talked to a big Internet marketer a couple months ago that said 95% of his business was credit cards and only 5% were checks and money orders, and some of those were checks by fax, where people use their check just like a credit card and fax it in.

He takes that other day and puts things on an auction site for the company he works for. He cleans out some of their inventory that might not be moving as well as other things. This includes certain types of firewalls and other equipment -things that were manufactured that are in their warehouse.

They pay him $100 just to put anything up on an auction site! Then, if it sells, he gets a commission off of that minus the $100. Either way he makes money on it! This is amazing! It’s how to actually GET PAID to list other people’s products on Internet auctions - even if the products don’t sell!

Your Money-Making Ideas Can Make You RICH!
 

Always look for new things. Always think. Always be waiting for that new idea to show itself!

We ask ourselves constant questions about how other people are making their money. We are endlessly trying to get to the bottom of what other successful companies are doing that’s bringing them success.

We try to get ideas from other people and companies, even things that, on first glance, will not appear to even be remotely related to what we are doing.

Creative people don’t get stuck on what they’re doing. They try to see what they’re doing from all the angles they possibly can. They try to look at it from a conceptual vantage point. They fully expect great ideas to come to them. Many times some of our own best ideas come to us when we’re working on a different unrelated project!

You will very rarely find us without a legal pad. Then, when we get an idea, we write it down. We always expect these great ideas to come . . . and they do!

Quantity of ideas is also important. You need to have as many ideas as you can have, because many ideas will not work. Even out of the ideas that don’t work, though, you can get closer to what does work. You can even get better, stronger, more successful ideas, thanks to the experience a few failed ideas can give you!

Remember, all it takes is one good idea to get rich. One idea that is well-executed and properly expanded upon can potentially bring you a fortune. As long as you stay open, receptive, and ever-thinking, these ideas will eventually come to you.
