Writing Can Be Easier Than TYING YOUR SHOES!
This article really deals with trying to make the entire process as simple as possible, because I know we’ve discussed how people have the perception that writing is difficult. One of the shortcuts that I’ve found that works best for me is when I don’t have to write anything, and everything is done for me. One of the best self-published products that I can think of where that is the case is products that are just a compilation of actual real-life examples.
Let me give you an example to really explain what I’m talking about. A couple of years ago when a friend of ours’ wife was wanting to create a resume to get a job as a veterinarian, they went to the bookstore, and there were literally dozens and dozens of books on how to write a resume. These things were huge - a hundred pages, two hundred pages - and you had to read the whole thing just to figure out how in the heck to write a resume.
Eventually they came upon a book which was 100-150 pages, but instead of teaching you how to write a resume, it was a whole book of actual resumes, and they were each in different categories depending on the type of job you were trying to get.
